The Gonzales Family

Tomas and Maricela Gonzalez are the owners of our Ulmerton Road location. Tomas and Maricela began working for Carmelita’s in the late 1980’s, and after the opening of the Tri City location Tomas and Maricela moved in to the positions of Cook and Kitchen manager at the Park Street location. They were both very dedicated to the Carmelita family philosophy of making the food as fresh as possible and giving our customers good quality, made from scratch, Mexican food. They purchased the Ulmerton Road location in 2006. Tomas and Maricela together with their children, Alondra and Saul, continue the Carmelita’s tradition of running a family business.
